Producing around 8 million kilos of the most elegant teas that brings out the quintessence of Pure Ceylon, Ceyleaf believes and functions on a sustainable model by working hand in hand directly with Tea Farmers.
Our motive is to ensure ‘farmer direct teas’ reach our consumers while directly supporting our smallholder farmers. We make sure that their produce fetches a fair price with a year-round guarantee through our purchase, production and marketing of Tea. This enables more than 12,000 of our partnering farmers to flourish in their livelihood while being content and able to carefully nurture their Tea gardens in turn providing us their best produce. We also allocate a share from our profits purely for the consistent development of the farming families and their livelihood.
Moreover, with the motive of encouraging our Tea farmers and empowering them further, we constantly engage with them through our farmer engagement initiatives that is part and parcel of our day-to-day operations.
